Q: What is a hospitable interaction and how does it relate to fascination and interaction over the internet? (kmartinez)

A: A hospitable interaction is characterized by "a willingness on the part of the viewer [of the World Wide Web] to attempt to understand the story of the other, to explore not just the image, but also the self, of the person(s) being viewed" (Pg. 166). Hospitable interactions and fascination are directly correlated, the better the hospital interaction that occurs between the user and the webpage maker, the greater the fascination on both parts.
