Questions about AdlerThis is a featured page

Q: Is there a difference between what Adler proposes to be the "overclass" and the Marxist idea of the bourgeouisie? If so, what are they? If not, what are the similarities? (kmartinez)

A: Ironically, the "overclass" and the bourgeouise are not too different. The overclass are not described as the "old-fashioned...morally bankrupt aristocracy." (pg 274) They are actually those that worked hard and strived to go through Ivy League schools. So, essentially they are very similar "classes." (ijoshi)
