Household DVRsThis is a featured page

In Frank Rose's reading, The Fast-Forward, On-Demand, Network-Smashing Future of Television, he stated that, "A recent Forrester survery showed that if 30 million households had DVRs - a milestone we're projected to reach in early 2007 - three-quarters of the national advertisers would cut their spending on TV."

Now I am not entirely sure how to tell where we stand on houshold DVRs or any of that, but I was wondering if someone was able to find out. I also can't find where to tell how much national advertisers are spending currently but the reading says that $9.3 billion were spent on the six broadcast networks alone in 2003. (cellis)
