Cell Phones And AIMThis is a featured page

So I was sitting in my dorm room during exams week, and someone- an anonymous fellow- walks into my room and starts telling me this great idea he has for getting through his exam. Now before i start, i just want to bring to everyones attention the ability to recieve text messages on your phone through AIM. The cool thing is that they read just like normal text messages. Of course many people already knew about this, but what i certainly did not think about were the possibilities of things that could be done with this ability. I mean, think about it, one person is out somewhere doing something, and another person can INSTANTLY send them a message wherever they may be.

For example, lets say youre taking a test, youre sitting in the back of the class and its very easy to get your cell phone out and use it. Who is to stop people from simply feeding answers to these test takers by researching questions online and instant messaging answers to someones cell phone! Or even more realistically, instant message yourself the notes the night before...resulting in the DIGITAL version of your history class. I mean, come on, cheat sheets are sooo 5 minnutes ago.

Of course, the AIM/cell phone relationship could be used for other things, but this subject specifically is what made me think a little bit. Things are seriously becoming digital all around us all the time. (rsororian)
