Q: Parker does well in presenting both sides of two differing viewpoints. Those who praise PowerPoint revel in its simplicity and the way in which it makes work "fun." Those who disagree with its use say that it distances the speaker from the audience, and stifles any real thought "if anyone notices, it's too late - the narrative presses on." Where do we stand on this issue? As students PowerPoints really do help. But in the real world the need to articulate is important. Are there any arguments within Parker's essay that you would seem to agree with more than others?
